Thomasville Entertainment Foundation is joining forces with Thomasville History Center, Thomasville Landmarks and Thomasville Center for the Arts for “Music in Paradise,” a celebration of the 140th anniversary of Thomasville’s historic Paradise Park! Along with a FREE 11 a.m. concert by Seraph Brass – America’s top all-female brass quintet – family-friendly activities will include a hands-on art project as part of Thomasville Center for the Arts’ Second Saturday and a community picnic following the concert on the grounds surrounding the historic 1910 bandstand. Pack your own picnic lunch or purchase a reasonably priced hamburger or hot dog plate (while they last) grilled by our volunteers on-site. City of Thomasville officials will be on hand to share ideas and plans for the coming rejuvenation of this treasure that’s been part of our community since 1882. Bring your own chairs or spread a blanket and enjoy a morning of fun, familiar music, and a family celebration of one of Thomasville’s wonderful historic places. FREE FAMILY FUN! Note: In the event of rain, this event will take place in the Thomasville Center for the Arts auditorium.
Shop The Lobby at the Thomasville History Center Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm. Gifts inspired by the history, people, and stories of the Red Hills region for everyone on your list!
