Join Pebble Hill Plantation Program Coordinator, Kitty Spivey, and Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Biologist, Anna Yellin, for an engaging program highlighting how centuries of conservation practices by local land stewards have shaped our regional ecology and how community residents can make their own conservation impact in their backyards today.
Are you curious about nature and enjoy discovering unique plants and wildlife? This interactive program will introduce community science and show how simple observations—and even photos from your phone—can contribute to real scientific research. Learn about projects happening around the world and how you can help conserve wildlife and habitats right in your own backyard.
This program is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch; light refreshments will be provided.
