Volunteer

Volunteers play an important role in helping the Thomasville History Center care for its collections, historic buildings, programs, and special events.

With a collection of more than 500,000 items and a three-acre campus that includes eight historic structures, there is always meaningful work to do. Whether you enjoy greeting visitors, helping with events, supporting educational programs, assisting with collections projects, or lending a hand around campus, we would be glad to connect you with an opportunity that fits your interests and availability.

MEMBERSHIPS

Membership is one of the most meaningful ways to support the History Center.

Members receive free admission, program benefits, discounts, and reciprocal museum privileges at select levels, while helping sustain our work year-round.

Personal Memberships

Personal membership is a direct way to support the Thomasville History Center while enjoying year-round access to the places, programs, and stories we share. Your annual dues help preserve historic places, care for collections, support educational programs, and keep local history accessible to our community.

Memberships account for approximately 8% of our operating budget and also help us meet important matching grant opportunities, making your support go even further. With your help, we can continue preserving our past and inspiring our future for generations to come.
