Creating Space for Local Makers
It is a priority for the Thomasville History Center to make space for items by local makers on our shelves. Through our consignment program, we’re able to shine a light on fellow small businesses. We accept applications for our consignment program throughout the year. Complete the contact form below to reach out.
The Fine Print: Consignment vendors at the Thomasville History Center must be within a 75 mile radius of the Thomasville History Center. Artisans of handcrafted materials, gifts, and apparel are preferred. Inspiration from the history, people, stories, and ecology of the Red Hills region is required. Consignment vendors set the profit split with the History Center receiving no less than 20% of the proceeds. Consignment payouts are conducted quarterly by the Thomasville History Center. All consignment vendors are required to complete a W9 form. Applications will be considered as needed. The Lobby refreshes its stock roughly 3 times per year. Exclusivity with the Thomasville History Center is not required but will be a consideration in the process.
