It’s time for another summer of museum mischief! Registration is open for Camp LPH hosted by the Thomasville History Center with a helping hand from Landmarks. Campers in 6th through 8th grades are eligible to sign-up and scholarship assistance is available.
The Thomasville History Center and Landmarks are joining forces for a special 3-day camp experience at the Lapham-Patterson House for rising 6th through rising 8th graders June 20-22 from 9am until 4pm. Campers will explore the Dawson Street Historic District architecture, the stories of the families who lived there, and historic preservation. Taking inspiration from the neighborhood, campers will each design and “construct” a house using cardboard boxes and mixed materials. Collectively, the campers’ creations will be arranged in a temporary diorama and remain on display at the Lapham-Patterson House through August. Registration is $130 for members and $150 for non-members. Spaces will be limited and History Center and Landmarks members receive priority registration. Scholarship assistance is available.
$130-$150 per Camper
Member Priority Registration ends June 9
