| We’re going on a field trip! Register today for our 2022 Member Excursion to Andersonville National Historic Site. We’ve designed an adventure that we think balances the exclusive, guided tour experience that many enjoy, with the independent exploration that others appreciate. We’ll meet at 10am at the National POW Museum where we’ll receive a special introduction from park staff. After exploring the museum, we will enjoy a picnic lunch, provided by the History Center. At 1pm, we’ll meet up for a Ranger-led tour of the prison site. Attendees can then explore the National Cemetery on their own or start the journey home to Thomasville. *Please note: transportation to and from Andersonville is the responsibility of the attendees. |
