DESCRIPTION:Camp Dawson Jr.\nJune 1-5\, 2026\n9am-3pm (early drop off and late pickup available)\nRising 1st through Rising 4th graders \nEarly Drop Off: 8am – 9am\nLate Pick Up: 3pm – 4pm\nEarly drop-off and late pick-up are offered free of charge but arrangements must be made in advance to utilize this service during camp.  \nWe are gearing up for another amazing summer of crafts\, games\, and interactive fun at Camp Dawson Junior\, hosted by the Thomasville History Center. For more than twenty years\, campers have gotten “hands-on” with history at our annual camps and we look forward to another summer of adventure! \nJoin us for 5 fun and adventure-filled days of museum learning. Open to campers in rising 1st through rising 4th Grade. Each group will experience age-appropriate activities using the History Center’s backyard and eight historic structures as our “classroom.” Every day brings new adventures as we explore Thomasville’s history from 12\,000 years ago through  the 21st century.\n\nNote: Camp registration does not include lunch\, only snacks. Please be as detailed as possible in the “things we should know” section as it helps us to best prepare for your camper and offer a positive experience for everyone.
